Inclusive Excellence Resources
The resources provided below are just the beginning steps in educating oneself around issues of discriminatory practices and acting as tools for all individuals to intensify our work against discrimination. If you haven’t in the past been involved in bias work, start now. Feel free to circulate the following resources with your friends, family, and colleagues.
Help us ENGAGE as we fight to dismantle discriminatory practices that have hindered our communities for far too long. Do the following to ERASE the “ISMs”:
-
Engage in independent learning about diverse individuals and communities
-
Reflect critically and meaningfully on personal decisions, thoughts, and opinions
-
Act with civility and respect in our classrooms and community
-
Strive to address inequities in your sphere of influence and beyond
-
Encourage and support diverse perspectives and opinions
