A dance event that traces the intersectional histories of DNAWORKS Co-Director, dancer, and TCU Assistant Professor of Dance Adam McKinney’s African, Jewish and Native American heritages. The piece, which weaves contemporary dance with archival footage, personal interviews, and American and Yiddish songs, explores connections to identity, culture, heritage, and community. TCU 10th Global Innovator Award Banquet

This is Texas Christian University's 10th annual banquet to honor  Godelieve Mukasarasi, director of SEVOTA – a collection of community centers in 11 provinces in Rwanda. Mrs. Mukasarasi has been successfully mobilizing rural Rwandan communities toward a culture of peace and non-violence since 1994. Educated as a social worker and psychologist, her work has been primarily focused on women who were survivors of sexual assault and children born of rape.
